When you are Ill with Fever and a Cough or a Sore Throat:
-
When you are sick with a fever and a cough or a sore throat,
wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose will prevent the germs
making you sick from infecting someone else when you cough or sneeze
near them. This action ("covering the source") can prevent many people
around you from coming in contact with the respiratory secretions
which contain your germs.

How Should I Wear a Mask?

|
|
-
Apply
the surgical mask over your mouth, nose and chin; make sure the mask
fits snugly around your face. Pull the elastic straps behind your ears
for a close fit. Squeeze the firm top of the mask across your nose so
the mask acquires a shape similar to your nose and cheeks. Adjust the
mask for fit and comfort.
